The Challenge
The homeowner was renovating their Darling Heights cottage and the building inspector required a complete rewire — the original rubber-insulated wiring had deteriorated and was a fire risk. The homeowner needed the rewire completed within the renovation timeline.
Our Solution
Glenn stripped all old wiring and installed new TPS cabling throughout. He added a modern 24-pole switchboard, dedicated circuits for the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry, plus data cabling for a home network. All work was completed in four days.
The Outcome
The rewire was completed ahead of the renovation schedule. The homeowner's home now has modern wiring that will last decades, with capacity for any future electrical additions. The building inspector signed off first time.
